Did you know that you really DON'T need to buy and use the special whoopie pie pan that some specialty gourmet stores are hocking alongside their whoopie pie mixes? Save the $25 and put it into your saving for a Baking Whoopie day piggy bank. Instead, use a pastry bag and pipe circles of the whoopie pie dough onto a parchment paper-covered sheet pan (be sure to lightly spray with Pam). If you want to get fancy and have some fun, try playing around with some large star-shaped pastry tips. Nothing like trying out some new toys when you're Baking Whoopie!
